an_unusual_eye ◊ 2011-02-20 22:18	this is either a late 1974 (.5) model 260Z or a 1975-76 model 280Z. they've all been listed as 1975 280Z. i may be able to narrow the range further by color code when i get home...
an_unusual_eye ◊ 2011-02-21 04:26	it seems that the only original red available in this era was Color Code 110, which was offered for the full 1974.5-1976 range that this car falls into, as well as both before and after. beyond that, this car really looks darker and less orange than 110, so i would think there was most likely a non-original repaint somewhere in the 12 years between assembly line and filming. it's pretty amazing how many S30 cars ended up to be red or black, especially when you consider the number that were either copper or light blue the day they left the dealership.
