Why rare? Here have the old trolleys Volvo Powertronics with Marcopolo body from 1987. Im not remember, but in a first moment were to Curitiba, or some other city that never use it and came here -- Last edit: 2011-02-24 21:44:26 |

No, those trolleys of Rosario (la Ruta K), come from a ill-fated Belo Horizonte trolleybus project (Metrobel). They use the Volvo B58 chassis, and, as the basis of Metrobel project, one part came to Rosario and another part came to ABC region intercity trolleybus system (known today as Corredor São Mateus - Jabaquara or Metra system). The majority of trolleys in Brazil, in past 20 years are Ciferal and Mafersa in first moment, and Busscar in later moment, Marcopolo only came as filler (Metrobel, those buses from the photo, Metra Volvo B10M articulated trolleybus and the also ill-fated Fura-fila), as also Induscar-CAIO are building trolleybuses... |
