It's either a Mercury or a Meteor. |

1975-78 Mercury full-size so most likely a Marquis (base model in those days). |

That grille doesn't look like a Mercury. It looks like a late '70s Chrysler. |

Yes, it does. But the rest of the body is standard full-size Ford of the 1970's. |

I can't find a picture of any Mercury with that grille. Most of them from the '70s have vertical bars. |

I could not find one either, only those with hidden headlamps (Grand Marquis). Perhaps it's a Mexican version? |

It's a 1975 Mercury Meteor. I don't know if this model was offered in the United States but it was available here in Canada (and this was filmed in Canada). |

Mercury did have Meteors in the United States, but they weren't a seperate division, like they were in Canada. |

Shouldn't the origin marking include a Canadian flag? |

Is it a US car or a model designed for Canada? In the first case, it would get a "CDN" oval thing after the US flag, in the other case it gets the Canadian flag. |

btw isn't that car a "Meteor Montcalm" like /vehicle_42648-Meteor-Montcalm-1975.html if it is a Canadian one? |
