That rear badge actually looks like it says "Coronet 500," but I thought that was limited to the "wood grain" trim level. Thoughts? |

Fantastic! Another Abbott & Hast "Junior" hearse conversion. It's a 1968 Dodge, however and based on a Coronet 440. In 1969, the "Coronet 440" moved from the rear fender in front of the reflector to the lower front fender behind the wheel well (the reflectors also moved). While I don't know the number of 1968 Coronet conversions done, this suggest at least two were done, as I do have a factory photo of a black one.![]() -- Last edit: 2011-03-17 22:18:39 |
