Normal, j'ai vu la série. Ils interviennent dans les évènements du passé. C'est un "cheap" back to the Future sur mobylette ![]() -- Last edit: 2009-06-16 20:32:03 (G-MANN) |

You mean you're wondering why Ace is riding an 80s dirt bike when fighting WWII German soldiers? Well don't take it so seriously, he has a flying bike for one thing! It is never explained how Ace, who is from a time which is several centuries in the future, went back in time to WWII, but Red Dwarf has played around with the laws of time and space many, many times. |

-- Last edit: 2006-06-18 20:51:11 |

It doesn't really look like an SDKFZ 222, but you can't really tell whether this is the back or the front. In fact this might not even be a German vehicle, it could be something else with an Iron Cross painted on it. |

It is the side! ![]() But you are right, it is a fake. It tries to look like a Sd.Kfz. 222, but the proportions are all wrong. And look at the turret! It is difficult to say which base vehicle was used, therefore I would suggest to name it 'Made for Movie Sd.Kfz. 222'. http://www.galawallpapers.com/pictures/39/3938/SdKfz_222_001%20copy.jpg -- Last edit: 2006-06-20 23:44:27 |

How do you know it's not something else entirely? |

The principle shape is typical for a Sd.Kfz. 222. The built 'quality' is typical for 'Made for Movie'. ![]() I guess it doesn't even look too bad when seen in full. |

![]() In this image, which shows the whole thing, it looks more like a Ferret, but I'm not really sure. -- Last edit: 2009-06-16 20:31:43 |

I think it's a Humber Mk. 1 Armored car. Here's a site with some pictures for others to decide: http://www.wwiivehicles.com/unitedkingdom/armoured_car/armored_cars.html |

I don't think so. Have a look at the Humber Mk.1 here: http://tanxheaven.com/fedcol/brussel/humber-mk1-001.JPG http://tanxheaven.com/fedcol/brussel/humber-mk1-002.JPG |

Alexander, that's the scout car. It shares running gear, but that's it. The top turret shows it's a Mark I through III with the 15mm and a coax BESA. That's my two cents, for what it's worth. |

From the size of it and the way the thing sits, I think it's a heavily-modified Ferret. Also, that vehicle would probably be the most common available armored car to modify into a German-looking vehicle. - Dodgeman |

I don't think this should listed as "Made for Movie" (which suggests something completely custom-built), it's just dressed up like look like a WWII German vehicle, it could be a Ferret like DodgeMan suggested. |

No one's responding so I'm renaming it as a Ferret. -- Last edit: 2009-06-17 19:09:45 |
