Yes it is a '49, obviously a big one, but is it an Imperial Crown Imperial - http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1949/Photos/49Limo1.jpg - or just an 8 passenger Windsor - http://www.nashnut.com/archives/002910.html - ? -- Last edit: 2011-03-11 20:50:52 |

I think, as Commander said, it's a 1950. 1949 got two grille extensions but curved under the headlights as the links above pointed, and in '50 the grille extensions were straights For instance this Crown Imperial http://www.imperialclub.com/Articles/50WPC/Page06-reg.jpg But if we see this last link the script Chrysler in on the front of the hood for the Imperial Crown (also for New Yorker and Saratoga) and, on the contrary, Chrysler Windsor got the badge we see on the front of the hood. Here the 4-Door model http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/chrysler/50chr/bilder/10.jpg and here the Windsor Limousine http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/chrysler/50chr/bilder/13.jpg And here it is the 1950 Chryler Windsor Limousine -- Last edit: 2011-03-11 21:14:42 |
