Between 1910 and 1912, W O Bentley worked as chief engineer to the National Motor Cab Company in London. During that period they ran a total of 500 twin cylinder Unic Cabs with landaulette type bodywork. It is quite possible that this is one of those, still running in the early 1930s. The cabs were painted red, a very useful piece of information when trying to identify a vehicle in a black and white film! |

Thank you. The information was provided by WO himself, admittedly through a ghost writer, in his autobiography "My Life and My Cars" Hutchinson 1967. A copy, signed by WO, sits in my book collection. |
