an_unusual_eye ◊ 2011-07-31 22:18	the S spoilers came to the U.S. market first in 1981... this is either a 1981-82 928 with the Competition Group option package (a U.S. offering with the 16" alloys and the S style spoilers), or a 1983+ S.

an_unusual_eye ◊ 2011-07-31 23:23	the side strips are on my 1981 Competition Group Package car. they show up on the original window sticker as optional (not included in the C.G.P.) for $195 additional. they're also seen on the C.G.P. car (black) in the 1981 catalog... though i have to squint myself into a headache to try to see them, but not on the base (blue) car.
