ES330, since it's got a 3.3L V6. |

Ah, was it a 3.0L in previous? or was it an option package? |

Ok, i'm kinda curious how one knows its a ES330 over a ES300 from this particular shot since they were both made in that body style. Is it the wheels or some other piece of trim? I'd like to know for future reference. Although it would make sense for them to use the most recent model for a character in the movie. |

I admit, I made a small mistake (I could've sworn that this generation was only available with the 3.3L V6), although I lucked out and ended up being right. The chrome trim around the taillights wasn't used until '05, when only the 3.3 was available. |

the 2002s also had that trim around the taillights. That was what I saw at cars.com doing a used vehicle search(i always do that for late model vehicles that I don't recognize right off). I was thinking that the wheels were what you caught. But yeah, you are correct on this one though. I'm not trying to nitpick you anyone or anything or be mean, lol. I'm not very good at picking out Lexus vehicle models myself...I absolutly hate anything toyota makes, lol . -- Last edit: 2006-06-24 22:52:16 |

I dunno, I haven't been able to find one with the same taillights. The '02-'04 had partial clear (or slivery coloured) sections in the taillight (like this: http://photos.ebizautos.com/5470/1063284_9.jpg), but the trim surrounding it is black. In '05, the taillights changed to this: http://carad.ebayimg.com/i5/01/a/07/84/90/46_4.JPG But hey, no worries (I'd rather know when I'm wrong, just so that I don't do it again). |

ah, now I see that more clearly with those photos. I was mainly looking for side shots similar to the angle above (since they have a lot of those photos on cars.com) and didn't pay close attention to the trim. the trim IS a lot wider on the earlier models than the 05 onward. makes sense now, lol. Trim is usually where i'm good at, lol (since thats how I can differentiate between mid 90s accords and e36 model years) -- Last edit: 2006-06-25 03:44:38 |

Six-spoke 17" wheels weren't available until the 2005/2006 MY, so if you're not eagle-eyed, it's another way to tell '04 ES 330s from later models. |
