It's a 1963 Avanti. 1963 was the only year
with round headlights.

Oh yeah, the avanti II had square lights

This Avanti is worth only 1 star, but the main character drove a dark-colored Avanti that I'd give 3 stars.

In this vision of the future, all the cars have been converted to electric power. They hum smoothly and silently along, and you plug them in at the end of the day.

A quick note for accuracy.
The first few (about 50) 1964 Avanti's had the round headlamp bezels like the '63's.

The maker lights have amber lenses. Highly likely it is a '64. The '63 were clear with amber bulbs. The rear view mirror is on the windshield vs dash too.

Similar to a comment I recently place on another Avanti page, this business about parking lamp lenses and rearview mirrors does not match what I have in my literature and I would be curious to know where it came from.

Maybe it is a 63:

Q-Ball wrote directed by the same guy who did "Gattaca". That Avanti may in fact be the same prop.

It is a 1963 owned at the time by Dan Skidmore of Los Angeles. He sold it to someone in Boise Idaho where it still is.
