Reminds me of the 1950s Dinky model of the Coles Crane, #972 http://homepage.ntlworld.com/tonyonthemoon/Coles-toys-dinky.html and http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=2221 but can't find full details of the real one. |

It is indeed similar... |

The Dinky model was based on the 1952+ Coles Ranger Truck 20 ton crane lorry Link to "homepage.ntlworld.com" . Whether that is good enough for here is another question, but somebody who knows what to look for might find something else in the Coles site http://homepage.ntlworld.com/tonyonthemoon/Coles.html . |

I think it`s rather a Jones KL 10-10, because of the distinctive look. -- Last edit: 2014-03-13 22:01:56 |

do you know the truck carrier ? cos maybe both Joens and Coles used it ? heck in case of doubt we could list the truck carrier itself !! -- Last edit: 2014-03-13 22:21:06 |

Was that a yea or nay? And isn`t that a blurry "Jones"-logo we see in the main pic.? |

well if nobody can find a COLES on that chassis then we might as well name it JONES |

Spot-On made a Jones Mobile Crane toy. Shows up on eBay, from time to time and looks similar to this, only with a full cab and "snout" |
