-- Last edit: 2006-06-27 23:06:22 |

The 1941 Studebaker Skyway Sedan Coupes in both the Commander and the President series had one piece rear and front windows. So not a 1941 Commander.1940 Studebakers had two-piece windshields. So not a Studebaker.General shape of the car looks much more Lincoln Zephyr 1938 or 1939 but picture too fuzzy. |

I do not think this is a Willys. The lower shape of the rear windows of the Willys was more rounded.Willys were smaller cars. This one looks as big as the Buick and the Cadillac. It has a full lenght lower chrome strip extending front to rear fenders. It seems to have rear wheel shields. And there appears to be a short horizontal chrome strip at the front opening edge of the hood. The latter is characteristic of the 1939 Lincoln Zephyr. So I keep on thinking it is a Lincoln Zephyr and would go for a 1939 though the picture is very blurred. |
