..Time to look-away again Alexander.!!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (...and again... although a long fall ..and the water ... a bit of WD40 & this Land Rover should be up and running again.!! ![]() |

Seems it got such a good anointing with lots of WD40 and Waxoyl that it actually floats! ![]() ... and which other car turns a somersault when going for a dive! Only a Land-Rover has this elegance! ![]() Oh, by the way, it is a 109" Series II/IIa Station Wagon. The cliff-diver is a similar, but not the same vehicle. Note the position of the blue light and the spare wheel on the bonnet. |

..I'd missed those details.! ![]() Overall ...not a bad showing of Land Rovers in this series.! |

I agree! ![]() Is the series itself worth watching? |

..It's Ok ...nothing spectacular (..I prefer the earlier british TV actioners form the 60's ..Champions,Avengers,Baron etc...) ..and it's Not as good as persuaders.! (..due to the 25min episodes.. there's not enough time for a good story to build up.!) ..I'm not saying All episodes are bad ... they are worth watching ... if you come across them ...but not worth spending too much money on.! -- Last edit: 2006-06-30 08:06:40 |

Definately a IIA, as it features the rounded front apron and headlamps without chrome rings. No later than around 1968 though, as lights are in grille still. |

The single wiper gives it away as an earlier model, so it was made sometime between 1963 and 1966. |
