Double side trim, could this be SAAB Sport? |

Double side trim and very special double rear lamps means this is the sports version of the 93. That is the 1958-60 SAAB GT 750 (GT spells Gran Turismo) like this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_GT750 . Edit: Front hinged doors means this should only be based on a 1960 SAAB 93 F. That is a 1960 SAAB 93F GT750. Here's a better picture of the rear end http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1959-SAAB93B-750GT.jpg although that one is a 1959 93B with rear hinged doors. Edit 2: Just noted the bigger rear window which points towards this is based on a 96. Perhaps this is a VERY early (prototype) 96 with the older double rear lamps OR this is a trick of light which means this is a GT850 instead. -- Last edit: 2011-05-27 12:40:59 |
