@rljuna2: between the taillights there is a cateye-panel. It was a popular aftersales market extra in the 80ies, not only for Benzes. IIRC not only aftersales market, at VW-dealers you could by the KAMEI-made panels, also the more expensive ones from Treser. |

Maybe. At audi it was also an optional extra, except for the 200. So many Audi 100-, even Audi 80-owners wanted tht "pimp-my Audi-up-to-a-top-line-200-kit". It was in the times, where you could buy these disgusting and embarassing Mercedes 500 SEC [C126]-looking front hoods/grilles for many other Benzes as for the W126, the W124, even W201 and W123. 80ies...  |
