4.6 HSE. Never a 3.6 engine with these. By front and rear lights it is a 2000 or 2001 but they are easily changed so maybe older. |

Indeed the headlamp styling is from the 2000-2002 model year group. The 1995-2002 model Range Rover used a two-speed dual range transfer case with viscous automatic center differential lock. The transfer case was sourced from BorgWarner, specifically transfer case model number: 4462. The front axle/differential was upgraded for the 1999 model year when electronic traction control was added to the front axle. This was to help the front axle cope with the stress that the traction control system would place upon it. The Range Rover now had 4-wheel electronic traction control. Introduced on the Range Rover Classic, the rear axle/differential had rear-wheel electronic traction control since the 1993 model year. |
