I took another look at this picture, but this time I have the Wagner's Ford Trucks since 1905 and found this one is 1973-75 Ford F-350 Super Camper Special. |

Gas tank position indicates F-250. Perusing the 1973-1975 brochures the F-350 was only offered in the 140” wheelbase when equipped with a regular cab styleside bed. The rear gas tank moved for the longer wheelbase and there was an optional spare tire mounted in front of the rear axles. This picture really explains the gas tank move based on the wheelbase/weight class. 1973 brochure: https://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/73fpi/bilder/6.jpg 1974 brochure: https://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/74fp/bilder/6.jpg 1975 brochure: https://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/75pif/bilder/9.jpg ![]() Long story short the Regular Cab Styleside F-350 was not offered in the short 117” wheelbase or the standard 133” wheelbase for at least 1973-1975. This one is an F-250 by the rear gas tank in front of the emblem/sidemarker. |
