That isn't the "CIS" on the top. You mean CITV, or Commander's Independent Thermal Viewer and that isn't it. Those are USMC M1A1 Abrams tanks with the AN/VLQ-6 softkill active protection system. If this is a USMC tank it's an M1A1; the USMC never operated the M1A2 since it was too heavy for seaborne/amphibious operations.
