I don't know if it's really a car. The looks-like-model-grille makes me think something rare about it. |

Looks like a Sedanca de Ville body Isotta Frashini? -- Last edit: 2011-06-22 22:07:19 |

Somehow it does not look big enough to be a Rolls-Royce Phantom. It is certainly something expensive and custom-bodied but the pic is too blurry to confirm it is a Rolls. |

It doesn't have the Rolls Royce mascot but does have all 'suicide' doors which were common on the Phantom II. Barkers did a Duesenberg Model J Town car that looks similar too. -- Last edit: 2011-06-22 22:28:36 |

I thought Isotta Fraschini as well, but with no real idea why. The windscreen is very shallow - I'd expect a RR to be much deeper |

Maybe Sizaire-Berwick? |

Interesting looking 1926-ish Sizaire Freres 4RI at http://www.svvs.org/help21.shtml - halfway down the page. Shallow windscreen .... but no real idea beyond that. |

Sizaire has the right look but doors are different All the doors being rear hinged is distinctive. Looking at coachbuiders, Barker is certainly one that favoured that arrangement -- Last edit: 2011-06-22 23:09:06 |

It possibly is a Rolls but may have some sort of cover over the radiator to protect it from salt air?? It may be in storage there. |

1932 - 1933 Rolls Royce Phantom II Sedanca de Ville by Brewster. I have a feeling all cars originate from the USA, where probably most of the movie was made. -- Last edit: 2011-06-23 23:16:04 |
