Typical GM "linguistic incompetence" when it comes to in using foreign names for its models (although they did get it right in Pontiac "Parisienne"!). It should be "Grande Ville" (with en "e" on "grand") since "grand" is a French adjective meaning "big" or "large", and "ville" is a feminine French noun meaning "town" or "city". Yeah, in English we don't have "male" or "female" inanimate objects. And don't seek any logical explanation WHY, in French, some objects are masculine, that more logically should be feminine, and vice versa (e.g. in French, male genitalia - you can't get more masculine than THAT! - are described with feminine nouns, whereas the equivalent female "parts" use maculine nouns ...did you say crazy ?!?!)
