Not sure, perhaps someone else knows. I know my knowledge base is not as extensive with these older F-Series pickups. But the capture does offer a nice view of the open clamshell hood, a design feature that was first introduced on the 1957 Ford F-Series. The clamshell hood was retained until 1980. |

Custom Cab script at the C-pillar as shown at 2nd thumbnail. Where the side lights is used for the package has replaced with Norway spec repeater. The Camper Special script seems to be broken off half way, but it is on the rear of the front fender. I am wondering if this is 1968 model year due to missing rear red retroreflector sidemarker and the position of Camper Special script with 1967 grille -- Last edit: 2011-06-28 03:08:19 |

-The reflector in the cowl insignia was not on 1967 models. -The front side marker as well as the rear, lower side marker holes found on newer cars both seem to be covered with what was once a common method: a marker sized sheet metal plate with body color replacing the lamp. The front ones used for local side repeaters. Therefore no 1967. |

Now that I have revisited here with better knowledge on these generation Ford F-Series tore-40 is correct. Since it has the Camper Special badge and extra gas cap at the bed on the specimen and with the better knowledge of the grille style, I make this 1968 Ford F-250 Camper Special |

Repeaters mentioned above were mandatory from April 1st 1971 |
