There's an old Explorer4x4 comment that's been archived here.

Explorer4x4 wrote On another note, I sold the Bravada (and for those most curious, theres a picture below) a few weeks ago. It was too much, it had too many problems. I sold it to a friend for parts... I plan to buy another car. I've been looking at full-size wagons and SUVs. I've come down to a used 1999 Ford Expedition XLS... What I'd like to do more then anything else (but probably won't), is take an Excursion or Suburban all over the world where they are hated. I will drive it in New York City, back roads in California and all other Europe.

I thought he was only 13 back then? No mention of his Tempo [:ddr555]

Don't know why he calls this Jeep "the biggest SUV on the market" because in American terms it's sort of medium-sized.

He was a funny kid wasn’t he, good for a lot of laughs. Hope he is doing okay as he hasn’t posted in a while, that I remember.

Well, it did get to the point where he got on people's nerves (probably antp most of all), but yes, it's funny to read his comments now (I ended up putting his profile page in my favourites after he got banned - sad, I know). As far as I can remember the last username he used was TheJudge (edit: actually he has posted a few times this year). He's probably in college now (or will be going this year).

I remember reading one of his comments some time ago somewhere about the presets on the Tempo’s radio. I honestly don’t think I have ever laughed that hard.

What did he say?

I found it here, by searching "presets" and "Explorer4x4".

A snippet of the discussion:

Explorer4x4 wrote Oh no, oh my gosh, now its on ... The Ford Tempo and Mercury Topaz are the BEST mid-size-compact sedans ... My Tempo has cassette with Dolby noise reduction, 12 FM presets and 6 AM presets, cruise control, power windows, power locks, a 2.3L SHO 4-cylinder engine with a top speed of 110MPH (with my speed ship), AWD, front driver airbag, trip odometer, power trunk release and gas cap-door release and lock and many, many more features.

And might I add, you asked for it.

Hecubus wrote ... Oh, and why do you bring up radio presets as a luxury feature? It's just a little button.

It was probably a special feature when the Tempo was brought out :D
