Same model as here but in tractor trailer form: /vehicle_408735.html Notice the "spoiler" over the back of the cab and the sharp angle to the windows. Strangely, I have no idea what model truck this is. I've never seen one before. Is there no shots where we can see the front of the cab? |

From what little I can see, it looks like a Mack MB. -- Last edit: 2011-07-18 16:40:20 |

The cab is too narrow on the Mack MB, see how it has the fender over the wheels: http://www.freewebs.com/portersfireco53/E53-2%20Mack.jpg |

Actually I think I may have found the answer just now. Some type of Duplex or Simon-Duplex cab: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2424/3904487042_abb0aee170_o.jpg That one is pretty close, also check out the angle of two pumpers in the other link I had put up here /vehicle_408735.html I don't know what this model was called, alot of this information is hard to find online. My guess for the manufacture of the ladder trailer is LTI. So for now Simon-Duplex unknown/LTI -- Last edit: 2011-07-18 17:50:53 |

This shot shows the front of a fire truck, but whether it's the same exact one as the one in the main pic and thumbs, I don't know. /vehicle_416902-Chevrolet-Caprice-1991.html |

The truck that is referenced here is accutaly a Spartan Gladiator with a SPI 100 foot tractor drawn aerial. It was acquired by San Francisco Fire Dept. in 1986 and was numbered as Truck 1, It was a reserve truck at the time of the filming of this movie. http://home.covad.net/~geoley/truck1.jpg http://home.covad.net/~geoley/sffd.html |
