This might belong to Mike Frankovich, Jr, who lives in California and has "the largest collection of English Fords in North America". See /vehicle_177129-Ford-Zephyr-3008E-1969.html -- Last edit: 2011-07-30 16:29:01 |

Yes. See comments made in 2008 about "1961 Ford Zephyr Wagon" from collection of "Mike Frankovich Jr, who lives in California and has the largest collection of English Fords in North America" on page for on /vehicle_177129-Ford-Zephyr-3008E-1969.html . Does not prove this is that car but seems very likely - more info on that collection would be useful, as the linked article gives several tantalising glimpses. |

It turns out that Mike Frankovitch died in 2007 and his family sold off his collection. There's a partial list and a few photos here: Link to "www.enfostuff.com" |

I think the estate in the link is very likely to be this car - colour scheme looks identical. Described as a 1960 Zephyr estate (lowline) by Abbotts of Farnham, registered YYR 287, though some queries about date due to some pre-lowline trim detail. |

As a result of the recession, Big Ben has now been sold to an unknown country in Europe. Or is it CGI witchcraft and http://universal.filmmakersdestination.com/content/european-street ? |
