ha! I would say: fiat campagnola, first generation. but. zivod. ex-jugoslavia, hm? I think, zastava had a licensed version of the campagnola. (which is a SHE: as gardener.) :-)) martin |

It is the Fiat Campagnola (1951) which was built under licence in Yugoslavia. It looks like the military version A.R. 51. |

When did Zastava start building these? And did they have another name in Jugoslavia? |

I could not find out anything about, even serbian zastava-drivers dont know anything about this campagnola. there were only few models they used. weak motor. was no success. :-)) martin |

micha lanner from http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/ gave me some informations about that car. if others hav interest, I will translate ... - warum wohl -- Last edit: 2006-07-17 17:22:48 |

For YU-made version,1954-1955 name was Zastava AR 51(Yugoslav version still retains military denomination as Italian counterpart,'cause in Yugoslavia was built overall for motorize Army, not for civilian use) |

So we should rename it to Zastava, or is this one an older one (1951 as currently indicated)? |

If YU-played movie, undoubtely 1955 Zastava AR 51(I say 1955 'cause local made version was started some years later the Italian counterpart, being that early Zastava-badged vehicles dates back 1953 and based all on one kind of running gears, that of Fiat 1400--Zastava Z 1400 BJ,1395cc.--Fiat Campagnola/AR 51--Zastava AR 51,1901cc.,derivated by 1395cc.unit,raising cylinder capacity--and Fiat 615 truck--Zastava Z 615,with same engine of Zastava AR 51) |
