Scene set in France, for one time they found something newer than a 504 or even a 505, I was happy of the use of French cars in this series... But NOT that kind of use (note that it was repainted, the original red color is still visible at the door) It has Peugeot 505 wheels, and seemed to retake the role of /vehicle_421839-Peugeot-505.html (I hope they didn't fail a crash with the 505 first...) -- Last edit: 2011-08-03 12:08:11 |

The 405 was the last Peugeot to be sold in the US and Canada. We even had a North American-spec 405 with fake French plates in a Polish television film a couple of weeks ago. -- Last edit: 2011-08-03 12:12:09 |

Ugh, of all cars, how could they damage a 405, because they are pretty rare in North America! |

Poor 405 . Those are its stock wheels though, the 505 ones are different. |

Here's another image: I noticed the license plate appears to be 75N-4242G, a pre-2005 National Police plate. I suppose this is accurate since it is driven by a character who is a police detective. -- Last edit: 2012-02-11 22:56:41 |

Not really. It would be useless for surveillance because anyone would know it was a government car. |

I know. I suppose the car is "unmarked" rather than "undercover." A lenghty discussion about the difference can be found here: /vehicle_399259-Ford-Crown-Victoria-P71-2003.html In the episode, the detective was following the CIA agents. Of course, the agents knew he was following them, and the detective knew the agents knew. The agents had someone crash into his car so he could not follow them. In the episode, he tells the agents that he just paid off the car. That would indicate the detective owns the car, and not the National Police. |

If it's the detective's own car, the plate is wrong even within the show. For what it's worth, unmarked cars in French cop shows have normal plates: /vehicle_324975-Renault-Clio-X85-2009.html |

Damn, these cars are so rare in Canada that it is a shame that one had to be smashed for a cancelled TV series. |

He even tells it is his wife's car (that he just finished to pay). -- Last edit: 2011-08-05 13:15:04 |
