Well, sort-of. It's not mainland China because the car is right hand drive. The IMDB doesn't have a location entry, but credits suggest that the film was partly shot in Hong Kong (where cars are RHD). The registration plate is a fake that looks a bit like a mainland Chinese plate. |

1993-1994 Lexus LS 400, not Toyota Celsior. Celsior cars had Celsior badges on the right side of the trunk. Lexus LS cars had a Lexus badge on the left side of the trunk. This car does not have a badge on the right side. |
