Filmed where? Maybe it's the Canadian Bombardier-version. It seems so, as it has an American-style tire with the white stripe on the side. And for sure it's a faked UN-car, smeared with a paintwork for radiators or so. UN-troops had always real military versions (mostly Bombardier), so not with silvermetallic wheels. Btw.: in the village, where I grew up, there was a freak, who had a civil Iltis, pimped with alloys in the Mercedes G-style and green tinted window - even in the doors ![]() |

P.S. This was a military car in its first life, though it has civil rims, to identify by the antenna-holder at the right backside. |

Filmed in Rwanda, supposed to be the VW Iltis used by the Belgian peacekeepers (although its origins are debatable here). The other Iltis seen in a movie made in Rwanda was listed as a VW: /vehicle_153898-Volkswagen-Iltis-Typ-183.html |
