Go for a 1937 Packard Convertible Coupe ( fifteenth series built september 1936 to september 1937 , may be a One Ten model 115-C or a One Twenty model 120-C )

That grill is perpendicular to the ground; it's a 1935 Packard 8.

If it was a 1935 Eight it would still have the weights on the ends of the front bumper. Those bumper guards date it as not earlier than 1937.

Note how the grill of the 110: [Image: scaled.php?server=194&filename=1937110.jpg&res=crop ] 120: [Image: scaled.php?server=97&filename=1937120.jpg&res=crop] and Eight: [Image: scaled.php?server=853&filename=19378.jpg&res=crop] of 1937 only resembles that pictured in the sense that it is a Packard.
I do not dispute that the bumper is incorrect for a 35: [Image: scaled.php?server=830&filename=19358.jpg&res=crop] but the car in question is not a 37.
It is a 1935 Packard 8 with the bumper from a 37.
