Some Chery based on a SEAT Toledo? |

Yes, it looks like a Qirui Fulwin (as it's called there). |

Agreed, a Qirui Fengyun SQR7160 (奇瑞风云 SQR7160). |

Is SQR7160 part of the model name, extra info or is it the chassis code? |

SQR7160 is the official model number according to rules set by the Chinese government, similar to the Soviet model numbering system. Manufacturers give cars names of their own choosing as well, but for trucks and buses they mostly stick with the official numbers. -- Last edit: 2011-09-07 00:39:33 |

I belive those are the original Seat taillights, making this the 1999-2002 model. I dont think they were named anything at that point, only having the designation CAC6430 (SQR was after the SAIC bought the company in 2001 - standing for Shanghai QiRui). In 2002, there was a light facelift. |
