pilou ◊ 2006-07-22 12:52	The steering wheel form of the taxi as seen from the back here is lower series Plymouth Savoy of 1957.On another picture in the movie one can see the left rear wing characteristic of the Plymouth 1957 .Checkers had a straight roof line higher seats and much more headroom.As far as the blue one is concerned ,it is extremely fuzzy.Could be a 1954 Mercury Monterey, but from the other picture with the 1957 DeSoto I would be more tempted to go for a 1955 Lincoln Custom Sport Hardtop Coupe.Hope someone has better eyes
archi87 ◊ 2006-07-22 13:07	pilou, I thought it could be a Lincoln too, but if you look at the second picture posted by sixcy, you'll see at the front grille it's a 1954 Mercury.
