From the shape of the radiator it is not an Austin or Morris. MIght be Star or Swift or ??

This is a Morris. A special flatter version of the bullnose radiator was used on the Cowley based vans and pickups.

GJ is a London issue for approximately May 1930. The Post Office did not receive special numbers until October 1939. The flickr picture is of a 1928 Leicester registered van, note the three stud Sankey artillery wheels fitted to both vehicles. The bodywork differences are because the Post Office specified its own details for bodies.

In order to remove the "unknown" from this picture, the radiator badge says "Morris Light Van"

Two points, I have never heard the term "snubnose" before, and the locksmith van is here dated as 1924, whereas the registration number is at odds with this. I wouldn't argue with 1924, however, from the detail design of this van.
