Looking at this again, it is equipped with DRLs and it is in the US so it can only be a 1996 or 1997 model.

GM's service manual says DRLs came in 1995 but they were in the low beam section and they were optional. The only example I can find is the car from Sgt.Bilko. This is indeed a 1996-1997 base model by the body colored B-pillars.

The first GM car to come with DRLs in the US was the Corsica in 1995, I am willing to bet that the service manual mentions it because its the same manual used for CDM vehicles (The USDM owners manual doesn't mention it in 1995) of maybe because this is Toyota based it also had the option (although I think the first Toyota to have DRl in the US was in 1996 as well)

so i got that part right.. i thought for a long time that the Corsica was the 1st , in 1995, but recently started to doubt.. thanks :)

but Prizm was not sold in Canada
