For the second thumbnail, beautiful ![]() 1982-86 Ford F-150 Regular Cab Lariat. The bottom badge of the 'F-150' says 4 x 2. |

Not correct. The bottom badge said XLT. There was no such trim as Lariat during the 1982-1986 generation. It was always labeled as XLT Lariat. Please peruse the '82 brochure: Link to "paintref.com" |

No, I think this is 4 X 4 badge under the script. See my comment at /vehicle_95820-Ford-F-250-1982.html#Comment233032 -- Last edit: 2019-11-21 14:23:14 |

I pulled the 1982-1986 brochures. I have to ammend prior statements. 1982 brochure: Link to "paintref.com" Standard XL XLT Lariat XLS 1983 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" Standard XL XLT just found out Lariat was dropped for '83-84. XLS - last year for this trim. 1984 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" Standard XL XLT 1985 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" Standard XL XLT Lariat back again after a 2 year hiatus 1986 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" Standard XL XLT Lariat @rjulna2 sorry for the confusion. However the only script I have seen under the F-x50 is the trim and then under that a diesel script seen here: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/16271987-9.html Edit: But perusing the Ford-truck forums there were 2x4/4x4 emblems only on base models that didn't get the trim level badge in its place: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/208764-4x2-emblem.html see that thread ![]() -- Last edit: 2019-11-21 20:38:02 |
