Scania-Vabis, my first thought. http://toolkitstatic.scania.com/millennium/archive/HIGH/2527.jpg http://www.museeducamion.com/suede/scania_vabis_l43_1954.jpg http://toolkitstatic.scania.com/millennium/archive/HIGH/2527.jpg But I cannot find any with split windshield. |

The L 51 Drabant seems to have one: /vehicle_201008-Scania-Vabis-L-51-Drabant-1953.html |

The Scania-Vabis truck is much older than the model L51 (being produced between 1953-59). Besides it is also a 4x4 which was never produced as L51. The four cylinder Scania-Vabis 4x4 models were produced between 1944-47 as model F10, 1947-1949 as model 2F10 and in 1950 only model F40. Thereafter the manufacturing was ceased. It is a bit hard to see the wheel base from the photo but presumably it is a Scania-Vabis F12 (the exact denomination is based upon the wheel base - the shorter whell base is called F11). Looking at the shape of front fenders and the headlamp supports the year of manufacturing would be between 1944-1946. |
