Be alert, if you want to have one. The first versions are already completely crushed, the successors are worthless trash either: Link to "suchen.mobile.de" |

I still see a pimped del sol on my way to work on Mondays. Usually coming towards me from the opposite direction. |

boy racer-driver? |

I have had 3 CRXs (my first car was a 1987) both the CRX and the del Sol are still easy to come across here in the US (I bought a 1991 CRX last year on ebay for $400.00) They are popular with the boy racer f&f crowd, but you can still get them unmolested fairly easily. |

@ Ingo: I'd imagine so. I've not had the chance to take much of a look at the driver though. I'll see if I can see through the tinted windows if I see the car again on Monday. -- Last edit: 2011-10-29 22:16:30 |

DX is the lowest trim? |
◊ 2011-10-29 22:24 |
yes and no; The CRX was only sold in three trims here, Si, HF and DX. Si was the sporty one, the HF, while technically higher than the DX, actually had less options as it was specifically built for High Fuel economy. So it had no full wheel covers or passenger side mirror, it was also only available as a 5-speed and it was still carbureted after both the Si and DX went to fuel injection. The HF also had specific lightweight 13inch aluminium wheels, a lower airdam and plastic spoiler all to help with lower the wind resistance and create better fuel economy. |

I'm pretty sure Michael's nephew drove this. -- Last edit: 2012-10-07 05:59:56 |

From SPV, incorrectly listed as a 1997 model: http://www.studiopicturevehicles.com/inventory/1997-honda-crx |

Brochures indicate there wasn’t a DX trim. Enthusiasts coined that term. Honda never officially sold that trim. http://importarchive.com/honda/crx/1984-1987 This is the 1987 rental from SPV and the original color indicated that year only. 1984-1986 utilize a darker red. |
