Looks like one of those Standard Ten based wagons. If the location is US then it is a Triumph Estate. |

Standard 10 Companion launched in 1955 as it appears to be UK. In US it would be Triumph TR10 Estate Wagon from around 1958/59 -- Last edit: 2011-10-30 14:35:21 |

This is a US location pretending to be the UK. Unfortunately we can't see where the steering wheel is, so it could be either a TR10 or a Standard 10 imported by the studio for films set in Britain. -- Last edit: 2011-10-30 14:46:27 |

I think all of this is shot in the US - as Greg H says maybe some cars were imported for shooting - perhaps the best thing that couild happen to some of them? |

Gag not Greg. It's a reference to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. ![]() |

Underlined it can be read as Gaq as well. "Dirk Gently" is a good Douglas Adams name I like. |

Soory Gag I did not read it carefully enough. I never really got into The Hitchhikers Guide but I do recall that the answer to life, the universe and everything is 42. |
