It looks like an old Brazilian plate, but the ABC 123 format doesn't fit: http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/jpglps/SA_Brazil_GI1.jpg The news report you posted -- thanks -- said "un país ficticio de Latinoamérica". http://www.tucumanhoy.com/n42330 |

For nothing. I think it's a strange mixture of plates. The ABC 123 format its the currently for Argentina and the colour, its for the old plates of Brazil. |

Can the size be Brazilian or Chilean? Argentina has the North American size. |

None of these, in think. See in: /vehicle_327638-Ford-Taunus-Cupe-TC3-1981.html the plate. Are a little bit typicall in the 80's. But not exactly the same size. -- Last edit: 2011-11-03 00:12:55 |

IIRC, the size of the plate in Argentina is probably an old American plate size from the forties |

Not sure. |

The actual North American size is ca. 30,5 cm x 15,5 cm with mounting holes/stots in a horizontal spacing of 18 cm and a vertical spacing of 12 cm. As the second right on the bottom line: correction: it's too long. The two on the left have the mentioned size. -- Last edit: 2011-11-03 20:59:32 |
