The correct trim would be LX 5.0. |

Cieraguy do you have any proof stating this? The brochures that I have (1987, 1990, 1993) only list LX and GT as the trim names. In any note this is a 1991-1993 based on the seats and wheels. |

Wouldn't this be best listed as a hatchback, rather than a coupe? |

IMO, yes and I brought this up sometime in the past but I got outvoted on it so we list both the notchback and the hatchback as coupe on the site. |

I guess he meant "LX 5.0" instead of just "5.0" as I listed it? (5.0 not being trim but engine or something like that, I suppose) |

Correct, antp. Should have made it a bit clearer. |
◊ 2011-11-08 23:34 |
yes but what I asking is if you have any info showing that LX 5.0 is the trim name instead of simply LX. |

I'm just gonna say it, this car was amazing in this movie. |

Judging from the steering wheel, this is an 87-89, 90-93 fox bodies had an airbag. |
◊ 2012-01-02 19:21 |
Why do you say it doesn't have an airbag? As I have already said based on the seats (headrests) and Pony wheels this is a 1991-1993 model -- Last edit: 2012-01-05 13:15:28 |

Mustangs are always awesome, I really hated how much they underrated this car in the movie. Calling a 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 "a crappy car", really? Through out the whole movie the car had no mechanical problems and was running perfectly well. No wonder Jesse Eisenberg kissed his "Stang" after getting the Datsun totaled. But that 280ZX was still awesome |

the info that tonkatracker is looking for I have seen on mustanggt.org. and yes it is a LX 5.0. |

know these comments are old but As already stated by mtcrkb. this fox has the interior with the airbag-less steering wheel only available in models older than 89'. pony wheels would've been available in those model years aswell. (though it's been modified judging by the H-pipe so really one couldn't tell for sure) -- Last edit: 2021-09-12 11:08:07 |

alsoooo LoL my daily driver is a white hatch LX 5.0 5speed, that i also been doin deliveries in for like years now you'd be surprised, it's not that much different on gas mileage from your average civilian car, (lol if you know how to drive) -- Last edit: 2021-09-12 11:24:20 |

I have just checked the trip recorder on my Mercédès C220d and over the last 200 miles, since I filled the tank, it has done 19 mph, (all town driving) and 36.2 mpg. (English gallons) You are saying you can match this with a 5 litre petrol engine? My 4.6 litre Bentley would do about 12 mpg in such use. |

what he probably meant is driven correctly, he gets more gas milleage from it than some other 5.0 which .. well.. does a lot of exercise.. -- Last edit: 2021-09-12 16:00:54 |
