dsl ◊ 2011-11-09 15:32	My info from Glass's, so either [1] Glass's is wrong - seems unlikely as the Feb 86 date was part of a revision across the Metro rage, with Mayfair replacing previous HLE and the text description has all the trim features shown here such as grey rear panel [2] Mayfair launched earlier in France than UK or [3] imdb has wrong date. [2] allows both Glass's and imdb to be right so is possible, but no idea if it is actually what happened.
Ingo ◊ 2011-11-09 21:17	On the right you can see two details for the absolute poverty-spec basic pre-1973 VW 1200 ("Sparkäfer" in Germany): the bumpers and the vents in the fenders, both parts relicts of the pre-1968 versions. As the dim 6 volts-tealight electric equipment, too.
