It is a 1999 GMC Suburban K2500 SLT w/7.4l vortec, and a 4L80E transmission. 14bolt full floater rear end with gov lock. 175k miles currently. Roughly 7.5mpg in the city. I say this with complete confidence because it is currently my daily driver. The bumpers are now body color and the side steps have been removed, it was hit on the passenger side and got some sketchy body work from some shop east of el paso. I removed the "cell phone antenna", because those are useless. That is not how antennas work. It does still have those hideous wheels, and they are a little worse for wear now. Most of the nice options like heated seats and such no longer work. The fuel pump is a little sketchy too, you have to know just how to treat it to get it started. A new radiator is coming soon. Overall it has been a great vehicle though. I've driven it from NM to OH and back several times. It ain't pretty, but it's solid and pulls like a freight train. |
