So, is this car considered ugly in France?

Do we have to answer? Really? YEEEEESSSSS!

Yea, don't worry Modell, this is coming from people who consider they 1950 Fiat 500 sexy and Fiat Multipla, Citroen DS and smart Fortwo good looking. They also do not understand limousines, they don't see the point of anythin bigger then a VW New Beatle :p . I find the Town Car limo good looking, maybe not the older ones but the new ones and the 1980s were very good lookers, and, they state you are rich.

Actually, i think this is a huge improvement on the other older Lincoln limos. Now those were hideous

Thanks. I wasn't sure if you guys were talking about something else.

I also think it's a pretty good looking limo. But no offense taken. ;)

Even in Europe you won't find much people that find that one good looking :p

(hard choice, Multipla or stretched Lincoln... both are so ugly :D each time I see a stretched Lincoln I remember jplemoine that compared it to a bathtub )

Explorer4x4 >> yes, the CX Prestige looks much better :p But again you compare things of different eras, the CX is from the end of 70s where the Lincoln is from end of 90s...

Antoine, I look at the DS the same way as you look at the Town Car. Also, you won't attract as much gazes and "birds" while driving a Town Car then you would if you were driving a Multipla.

Why do you start your sentence by "Antoine", as it is usually Jplemoine & Sixcyl that make comments about the Town Car, that started on this page, and that commented the most? Why always me? :o

Id prefer the Lincoln Town Car limousine because it shows your wealth :p . Also, it is a classic symbol of feeling: Sadness for one's loss, as in a black limo from a funeral, joy of a marriage and fun in parties. When you see a limo, it either means that someone has died, there is a party going on or someone is married. The Multipla is just one of those flops: Pontiac Aztek, Ford Taurus or smart Fortwo. One of those cars that nobody wants because it is different and strange looking. There are also many better cars in it's class.

Meh, I'd rather have the Town Car rather than the Multipla, but I'd rather have that Citroen than the Town Car. The newer Town Cars are ugly IMO. They really don't look that great as a limo or hearse. The early '90s one was OK, but earlier than that were the good looking ones. I'd much rather have the Grand Marquis rather than the Town Car just because the Grand Marquis looks better.

Even for me, this Lincoln is ugly. If you drive a car like that, everybody think you are a chauffeur.

.. I think the Majority of these stretched limo's are very ugly (..i'm not saying this car is bad ... the actual lincoln it's based on looks ok ... but Limousines need to keep their length down to a more reasonable (..and tasteful) size.! ...not this overgrown cruiseliner.!

[sarcasm] A Multipla would be a great looking limo! [sarcasm off]
You aren't supposed to drive a limousine, unless you were hired to do so, you are supposed to ride in it! And, the Town Car has never looked worse then the Multipla, and it's only bad year was the late 90's. This current generation is fine. Limousines are supposed to be long, that is the point! They are either 1) for comfort, having a long car means more luxury features or 2) to haul large amounts of people in comfort. I have only been in a limo once. It was a black 1999 Town Car and it was brand new at the time. We had like around 20 people in the car, and it was awsome! You completely forget that it is sort of strange looking on the outside once you're inside.

..if you're going to need a vehicle this long ...why bother getting a stretch limo? ...you might as well have a Luxury coach .! (..more luxury ..more room... more extra's etc...)

explorer4x4

Some people do choose a coach. But, limousines are practicaly the simbol of cash!
