 It is a 12 or 13 ton DNB or DNC road roller built in the late 1920s or early 1930s.

 Isle of Man plate issued soon after March 1935 when MAN series replaced MN. No idea if plate is original identity. Plate may also have been used on several engines, as comment at http://www.flickr.com/photos/12831473@N00/787330655/ .
