When I want to make a capture I pause the film and I edge foward frame by frame until I get the perfect moment. That's the ideal way to make captures, but maybe it's not possible to do this with some media player programs. |

Of course when I actually do a movie I've already watched it so I speed through it at 32x speed until cars appear, at that speed (it's the fastest the program will do) my eyes can just about keep up with what's happening on screen, although sometimes I wish it could go even faster. The only films I've done that I've never sat through properly (I was bored and was going through my girlfriend's DVD shelf) are The Last Emperor (actually this came free in the paper), Whale Rider, Stepmom and Love Actually, the last two I'll probably never watch (Love Actually really looks rubbish). |

It is just a Renault 5, but in this version it is a little exotic indeed  I liked that one!  No wonder why you miss all the background cars, if you make your captures at 32x!  I always make the captures while watching the movies (except in chases scenes where there are too much cars: I watch it a first time then I re-watch it for the catures, else I have to pause it too often to appreciate it) -- Last edit: 2007-10-03 22:28:57 |

I think I have bought about 70 1-Euro DVD's (B-Movies, maybe C or D ) until now since I am an admin, I'm not going to watch all this crap movies entirely. I watch them just for the cars at "Fast Forward"...If someone is interested in the DVD's, let me know! -- Last edit: 2007-10-04 07:37:41 |

Well I don't always go through the whole film at that speed, sometimes during scenes near roads I slow down a bit, but I tend to speed through the indoor scenes as fast I can. If there's a well visible background car, I'll consider listing it if it's interesting enough and not too blurry, but I don't care about missing all these far off and blink-and-you'll-miss-them background cars (which are usually ordinary cars from the time it was filmed). If a film has very few cars in it (it isn't set in the middle of a city), then maybe I'll be more likely to list backgrounds. But somehow when a new person browses this site, I doubt they care about every little background car that appears in a film, they'll be more interested in the main cars. But I really prefer to watch a film on my TV first, when I make captures I get very precise about getting the perfect moment for the still (as little blurring as possible) so I couldn't watch a movie and truly enjoy it if I kept having to pause it to make stills. -- Last edit: 2007-10-13 18:56:38 |

First name of those was Saipa 5 (or Saipa-Renault 5) - renamed to Pars Khodro Sepand in late 1997, when production was moved to its factory. Made in Iran since ca 1975. Edit: Or 1977.
