The whole thing does not fit with either 1983 or 1953. It's listed as Austin but by 1983 it should be Carbodies. It has a 2.2litre petrol engine which was stopped well before 1983. There weren't any FX4s in 1953 (they came out in 1958). This cab has rubber bumpers but those didn't come out until 1985. It's either a 1985+ with a fake plate from a re-registered FX3 (In the old days it was common to re-register old cars on new plates) or something older and messier. My money is on the latter. |
