The only difference between '52 and '53 Larks was the gold colored front and rear "W" ornaments. Can't really tell here but will leave as '52 since that is first of 2 possible years. |

Definitely a Lark because of the lack of stainless steel around the windows. Also, the lack of stainless body side moldings makes it a 1952 because those moldings were optional, they became standard equipment on the 1953's. |

The gold 'W's were added part way through the 1953 model year and were available through the parts department to update any previous Aero. The 1952's had a script on the dash that said "Willys" that was deleted for 1953. Of course, that probably won't be seen in the movie. |
