This is for the one in the foreground. There's no other good shot of the Chevy pickup. |

To expand, this is a 1955 Ford F-5. According to my Dad' 1950 through 1960 Ford F-Series identification chart, this one is a base model or Standard. Other model models are Custom and Big Job. Big Job was like today's Super Duty, but I think Big Jobs were dually trucks. But the blue one is a Chevroelt Viking, probably a 1 ton. -- Last edit: 2006-08-04 22:40:49 |

The Ford is a 1955 Ford F-100, the Chevrolet is a 1958 Apache 3100 |

Should we really give the Chevy pickup its own page? Like I said, there's no other good view of it. |

I would say no, it is far and not fully visible. But that does not prevent from identifying it on this page |

The "Big Job" truck Explorer 4x4 refered to is actually the LWB version, with higher bedsides. Most I've seen were 3/4 Ton,and could be in a way considered the ancestor of the current F-250 Super Duty. The light blue 1958-59 Chevrolet is a regular 3100 series (1/2 ton) pickup. -- Last edit: 2007-06-17 00:29:16 |

Can anyone help me find a high resolution of the Image above of the Second Hand Lion "Feed Store". My wife's family owns this cotton gin which the film crew turned into a feed store during the shooting. Would like to have it printed in a large mural for our home. Thanks. |
