1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design stake with the 1954-55 grille and one-piece windshield and the heavy-duty (1½-ton or 2-ton) wheel rims and bumper. The hood side logo could be the 1955 only model, but the picture is taken too far away to be sure of it. It looks like having the 137"/3.48 m wheelbase rather than the 161"/4.09 m one, making it either a 1½-ton 4100 or a 2-ton 6100, but no external detail except the hood side logo can help to tell a model over the other. The 161" wheelbase would make it a 4400 or 6400, the (most unlikely here) 179"/4.55 m one a 2-ton 6500. -- Last edit: 2015-09-29 01:00:41 |
