No not an Explorer. It looks like a first generation Ford Expedition RV, or an F-50.

The headlights look like they come from a newer F-150 and the grille resemmbles an aftermarket previous generation F-series pickup grille. Also, did anyone notice that the sounds they used when he was trying to turn the RV around in his driveway was from an older truck with a manual transmission? Later in the movie, it is revealed to have an automatic transmission.

The reason the grille and headlights look as if there from a ford explorer is because, I believe that the forestriver georgetown is made by ford, or if not made by, then ford at least has a controling interest in the company and they use parts from the ford suv's. . . . . I think.

On the exterior only the headlamps are sourced from the 2004-2007 Ford F-150.
This does not mean that Ford owns the company. Other RV companies use headlamps
(and sometimes taillamps) from Automakers.

The reason it looks like a Ford SUV is because most gas motorhomes are based on a Ford chassis, so they use the same steering wheel and headlights. If you look closely at the steering wheel, you can see whee the bluse ford oval would go, but it has been taken out.

Well in this case I guess that it is a bus chassis rather than a SUV chassis, no?
