More resembles a Napier but I doubt they would have damaged a real car. I supect 'made for movie'. |

As far as I know, base of these race cars were Mercedes chassis, with Maybach or Mercedes aircraft engines with a capacity 18 to 27 liters. |

Probable replica built by Alan Mann Racing, along with other fake oldies in the film. |

The grille looks very Napier-like. Plus, It looks like this could be the same car here in the link. It was said to be used in the movie, though it must have been restored and redone over the years after filming. Link to "www.flickr.com" -- Last edit: 2019-04-28 19:21:47 |

The car barely had any damage. It looks like it could've easily been fixed. Plus, the the car in the link I put may in fact be our friend her, and has probably had modifications, added over the years, like the headlights and the front fenders. since it was probably restored anyway. The rest of the car seems to match pretty well. |

That's referring to this car: /vehicle_45859-Napier-30hp-Hutton-1908.html |

That one is a 1908 30 HP, and the one on Flickr is a 1907 60 HP. -- Last edit: 2021-01-31 15:04:26 |

I still think that's the one they meant. -- Last edit: 2021-01-31 15:03:47 |

You may want to look again. The reason why I think it's referring to our friend here is also because the dash panel looks the same as the one on Flickr. The one you sent me does not have a dash panel at all. |

Also, the on flickr appears to have a longer bonnet which matches more with this car here more than the one you thought they were referring to. |
